Some of IGC’s week 8 cabin cheers were so hilarious they had campers and staff laughing out of their seats! Everyone was very excited to see what kind of safari madness campers would come up with! Each cabin wowed the crowd with their awesome cheer ideas!
Lions, tigers, bears – oh my! Tonight’s cabin cheers were all about going on safari in the Olympic Gym! This week’s judges, 2008 Olympic Bronze Medalist, Justin Spring, and IGC Head Counselor, Justin Clapper, were extremely impressed by week 8’s cheers. We saw it all from Jumanji to touring the IGC zoo in cabin 19!
So many awesome cabin cheers, but there could only be one winner! Justin and Justin had a very tough decision on their hands! The cabin cheers were so excellent this week they gave an honorable mention (a first for summer 2012) to cabin 19 for mentioning Justin Spring’s name! The week 8 winners are: in third place, cabin 5; in second place, cabin 7 for their creative rain effect; and the week 8 cabin cheer champion is…cabin 16 with their very vivacious cabin chant! Congrats to all of our winners!
Campers are now in the canteen, bear’s den or dance gym cheering on Team USA in the Olympic Games! It’s definitely going to be an exciting show!
