IGC asked gymnastics fans everywhere to share their experiences, memories and inspirations in the IGC Cares Contest for the chance to win a special visit from a celebrity gymnast…and the results are in!
We received a lot of great entries from all over the world and asked our dedicated fans to vote for their favorite story. Last week, we narrowed it down to five lucky finalists with the grand prize going to the submission with the most votes.
Congratulations to our IGC Cares Contest grand prize winner…Sofia Vazquez, 12, of Fort Myers, Florida! It was an extremely close race, but Sofia’s video submission entitled “A One-Year Journey through Gymnastics Ups and Downs” came in first with 193 fan votes!
Our second place winner, Amanda Huckel, mother of camper Tayla Huckel of Melbourne, Australia, came in a close second with 184 fan votes.
Finally, in third place is McKenna Rose Turbyne, 12, from Centennial, Colorado, with 43 fan votes.

The IGC Cares Contest Grand Prize winner will receive a home-gym visit from a celebrity gymnast for a special meet and greet, as well as an IGC clothing and accessories gift basket! Our second and third place winners will also receive plenty of great IGC merchandise.
