Summer 2017 Highlights at IGC

We can’t believe that Summer 2017 is over! The last day of camp has only finished three days ago, and we miss it and all of you so much already!

These last 11 weeks of camp made for an absolutely incredible summer at IGC. It was wonderful for new campers to experience IGC, as well as have returning campers come back for more.

Some major highlights from Summer 2017 include our celebrities. We were thrilled to welcome back tons of returning IGC Celebrities, including Nastia Liukin, Chris Brooks, Justin Spring, and Svetlana Boguinskaia. We were also very excited to welcome Laurie Hernandez and Gabby Douglas to IGC – it was the very first visit for both of them.

Other highlights were the themes of the week. Our newest theme, Harry Potter Week, was a huge hit with our campers. IGC made an awesome transformation into Hogwarts, complete with the Hogwarts Express Train, Platform 9 3/4, and much more! We are looking forward to bringing this magical theme back in the future!

Campers also loved all of the recreational games and activities planned for them this summer, especially the weekly themed cabin activities! Each week, they went on scavenger hunts around IGC to complete the tasks they were assigned, which won them cabin points!

Above all else this summer, campers had fun! They received excellent gymnastics training from IGC Coaches and Celebrities, and made new friends for life!

We are so glad that everyone enjoyed their time spent here at IGC. Seeing smiles on all the campers’ faces each day this summer is the greatest thing we could ever ask for!
