2026 Summer Camp Themes

We are so excited to announce our 2026 weekly themes for Summer #55 at IGC! Each week here in the beautiful Pocono Mountains, we’ll bring the excitement with fun-filled themes that will have you showing off your creativity, cabin spirit, and camp magic style. You can embrace the weekly themes as little or as much as you wish — whether it’s a full costume or just a small accessory, it’s all about having fun! 

WEEK 1 + MINI CAMP 1

ALOHA SUMMER

 
A bright, tropical kickoff to the season with sunshine vibes, flower leis, and island inspired fun!

WEEK 2

USA 250th Year Celebration

 
A milestone year deserves a milestone celebration! Camp will burst into patriotic color as thousands of red, white, and blue flowers transform IGC into a vibrant tribute to America’s 250th birthday. Campers can show off their festive flair all week long as we honor this historic moment with creativity, pride, and plenty of star spangled fun.

WEEK 3

USA Rodeo

 
The celebration continues with a Wild West twist! IGC will stay decked out in thousands of red, white, and blue blooms…this time paired with cowboy hats, boots, and western spirit. It’s a week where patriotic pride meets rodeo energy, creating a colorful backdrop for line dancing, lasso themed fun, and all the stars and stripes excitement of a western showdown.

WEEK 4

PIRATE ADVENTURE

 
Ahoy! Get ready to set sail for a week of high-sea adventures and treasure hunts. Bandanas and pirate spirit encouraged!

WEEK 5

CELEBRATE THE HOLIDAYS

 
Christmas in July? Yes, we’ll be celebrating many holidays this week. Think Easter, Halloween, Valentine’s Day, Thanksgiving and more! Choose one, or several of your favorites to celebrate throughout the week. Festive, creative, and full of surprises!

WEEK 6

SUPERHERO WEEK

 
Unleash your inner hero with capes, masks, and legendary superpowers. A week powered by imagination and courage!

WEEK 7

NEON SPLASH

 
Glow bright with bold neon colors, glowing accessories, and electric energy all week long.

WEEK 8

INTERNATIONAL CELEBRATION

 
Celebrate cultures and traditions from around the world with global pride, colorful outfits, and international spirit!

WEEK 9 + MINI CAMP 2

SAFARI ADVENTURE

 
A wild and exciting finale! Animal prints, explorer gear, and safari themed fun make for an unforgettable end to the season.

Our summer themes bring an extra touch of camp magic to each week! We’ll go all out decorating the campus to match the weekly theme, our staff will dress up in festive gear, and our camp activities will be infused with themed excitement.

A number of our summer weeks now have limited space, so we encourage you to enroll now if you wish to join our 2026 IGC family. Once you’ve enrolled, you’re welcome to switch your summer week(s), provided space is available.
