Wild Wild West Week at IGC 2017

Howdy partners, it’s Wild Wild West Week at IGC and campers have had a fantastic week!

Campers arrived Sunday at check-in with their cowboy and cowgirl hats and bandanas in hand, ready and excited for the week ahead.

Returning to camp for their third week this summer were Steve Legendre and Svetlana Boguinskaia (Svetlana will also be here next week during Week 10). In addition, joining the two of them for Week 9 was Sean Golden. Campers were very grateful to be able to learn from our terrific celebrities and improve upon their gymnastics skills throughout the week.

The camper favorite activities of this week included playing volleyball, gaga ball, space ball, and mini golf. Campers also got the chance to participate in an exciting new game, exclusive for Wild Wild West Week. It was a scavenger staff hunt, where photos of wanted staff members were given out to the campers. Staff members were hiding all over IGC, and campers went on a hunt to round them up in order to earn points for their cabins!

At the weekly camper dance in the canteen on Thursday night, campers had a great time letting loose, and singing and dancing the night away. They also got the chance to receive signed autographs from our IGC Celebrity guests.

It has been a wildly entertaining Week 9, and we are so glad our campers enjoyed the entire camp experience!
